Miracle on the Hudson SLJ day 2
Hello blogger, this is day to activate of the summer learning journey. In 2009 Mr Chesley Sullenberger became famous when he landed his plane in the Hudson river and all 155 passengers survived. he had to make a emergency landing because both engines lost fuel.
Someone I know who is brave is my dad when he helped put out a big fire in the hotel we were staying at. the fire was in a room which was the place that was the machine that set off the sound alarms so no alarms went off.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that story about your dad! I enjoyed reading it. It sounds like your Dad was super brave in that moment! I had a similar experience to this once - a hotel we were staying in when I was visiting Melbourne had a fire and we all got woken up at 3am and had to be evacuated! Luckily the firefighters came and put the fire out - they are super brave people too!
