Student led toolkits

Hello blogger my name is Nicholas, and this blog is about the Ako Hiko student led toolkits. If you dont know student led toolkits is basicly where year 5 and 6 students from the schools in the Ako Hiko cluster come together to teach each other things. There are always at least one presentaion of a tool the students use from each shchool that goes.

Normally only 20 people from each school go but it was online this year so everyone could go but my school only let 20 as usual. At the start of the day there was a big meeting with evrey school but the internet was bad so we could not join.

My first toolkit was pretty bad because people were being rude and the presenters were muted most of the time so I just did what I thought I was supposed to do. After evrey toolkit we have free time to try the stuff out.

For my second toolkit I did scratch gaming so I could play and learn how to game on scratch I liked that toolkit. For the last toolkit was tinkercad which me and Ari presented that toolkit it was very fun some people didnt register so we had to make people acounts while presenting but people were quite positve and seemed to find Tinkercad cool. At the end of the day we all got together for a meet which did work this time. My favorite toolkit was Tinkercad because I got to present. there was also a chalenge that we could do.
Blog ya latter.

  2. Kia ora Nicholas. I'm glad you enjoyed presenting. You and Ari did a great job! I agree that the toolkits got better as the day went on. I think everyone just needed a bit of practice! I can't see you image, could you check it?
