Production Rehearsal

Hello Blogger, today we did our second in school Production rehearsal. I am in the senior item instead of an individual role. One of the good things about being in the item is that you have a say in what you do. In the cast you don't have as much a say in what you do, I still would have prefered an individual role but can't come to after school rehearsals like you need to do. The music we are doing the dance to is called 'Respect' by Aretha Franklin. Sadly there are no photos for this blog post.

Matariki

My schools Matariki celebration

Hello blogger, This Thursday we had a Matariki celebration at school. We did Matariki rotations all day, first we did stop motion animation of Moari Myths and Legends. Next we did Manu tukutuku (moari kite) making with paterns all but four people made the patterned paper and the four others hot glued them onto the bamboo kite frames I liked this activite best. Lastly we baked some fried bread what we did was mix self rising flour with water. Then we rolled it to a thickness of your choice after that we cut it and put it in oil to fry. After about 5 min we flipped it then we put it on some napkins to soak the oil and put on topings. It was nice but it think could have been less thick. Cross Country

Hello Blogger, this thursday my school did Cross Country. Because I am a year six, I had to run a station all day. My station was the one right after the run it was the rest station. The options were play on the playground or some games. me and 3 other people had to do it and could give out house points. There was another thing you could do which was stand on the track and direct people but that would have been boring so I am happy that I got to do stations. because we had to do jobs we did the run at the end of the day but I couldn't do the run. If you come top 5 and are year four or above you have a chance to go to Cross Country zones. Unfortunately there are no photos with me in them but here are photos of my station.
