Making ANZAC biscuts

Hello Blogger, yesterday I made ANZAC biscuits. My mum and I made the biscuits follwing the Edmonds cookbook recipe but we think the oven should have been cooler and the biscuits in for longer. We have also made lots of other biscuts which were realy nice. The biscuts were a bit sticky and had a slightly fizzy feeling for my mum because of the baking soda not baking out. We are going to make these agin but not put as much baking soda in and make the oven cooler so they can hopefuly be not so sticky.
Blog ya later.

  2. Ka pai Nicholas. I'm impressed that you are already thinking about what you can learn from this to make your next batch even better. It reminds me of when I baked banana and feijoa muffins last week as we had lots of feijoas that were about to go off. Have you been doing any other baking or cooking?

  3. A great blog post Nicholas, very informative with your clear steps and photographs of the different stages. Ms Sands Anzac Biscuits are pretty hard to beat, I missed having those in the staffroom this year. Maybe on your next batch you could add a chocolate button like she does? I look forward to hearing how the next batch turns out.

  4. Those ANZAC biscuits look delicious Nicholas - thank you for sharing your recipe and the photographs of how they turned out. I quite like sticky biscuits, but I understand what you are saying about the baking soda. How's your bubble going? Is the new baby doing well? Looking forward to your next post, take care and stay safe :-)
